Stefan completed his law degree at the Nottingham Trent Law School and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Glamorgan. He was admitted as a solicitor in September 2000 and became a partner in July 2022. He heads up the Criminal team. Stefan was previously employed as a Legal Advisor to lay magistrates and as a law lecturer at the University of South Wales, delivering both the academic and professional criminal law modules. Stefan was previously employed in private practice in a busy criminal firm based in Gloucester. He also practised overseas. In 2003 Stefan was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland and in 2004 admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Australia. During his time in Queensland, he worked for Legal Aid Queensland representing solely Aboriginal clients and later with a busy criminal and family practice located at Brisbane and Beenleigh. Stefan makes regular appearances at the North Somerset and Taunton Magistrates Courts. He has a thorough approach to all matters he has conduct of and has an impressive success rate in trials.
