House sale for ex-pat - Outstanding experience
I recently completed a UK house sale and purchase with Pretty's in Ipswich. The process was quite complicated in several regards. I live overseas, i needed to transact the sale and the purchase within a fairly tight schedule, there were tax rules to be complied with both in the UK and in my country of residence.
Most of the firms I spoke to did not want to engage given the complexity. I spoke to the Head of Residential Conveyancing who advised that they would be able to act for me with the understanding that they could not advise on overseas legal or taxation issues which was fine as I had already engaged with a firm to handle this.
The experience was flawless. Pretty's have an expert staff who explained the process, executed, kept me updated, provided guidance on decisions that needed to be made and were a pleasure to work with. This was clearly, as we say, "not their first rodeo".
I would recommend this firm unreservedly. Heidi and Jade are a great team and delivered first class service.

Professional and friendly service
We have found the service provided by Heidi and Jade to be professional and efficient. The response to queries and requests for updates was prompt and helpful. Jade was especially on the ball in Heidi’s absence. Our query regarding fees was dealt with very well by Georgie.
