Michal Zawislak
Solicitor - Associate
SRA ID: 665648
Michal studied law at De Montfort University in Leicester and following his graduation joined Hopkins as a Trainee Solicitor in November 2019. He also completed his master’s degree in Legal practice at BPP University in Birmingham during his Training Contract. Michal initially started training within our Residential Conveyancing team at our Eden Court Head Office in Mansfield but also supports clients from our newest office in Heanor just north of Derby. We received glowing reviews about his excellent communication skills and his dedication in keeping his client’s property matters on schedule. He spent most of his training in our Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Department from our Nottingham City office on Regent Street and once again we are receiving excellent feedback about his attention to detail, friendly manner and his passion for helping those who have been wrongly injured or fallen ill. Michal qualified as a Solicitor in November 2021 and has decided to pursue a career within our Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Team in our Nottingham office on Regent Street just outside of the city centre. After very successfully establishing his personal injury services in Nottingham, we were proud to promote him to an Associate in April 2023. And in September 2023 he proudly achieved his APIL accrediation as a Personal Injury Litigator specialist. In addition, Michal speaks and writes fluently in Polish and is passionate about reaching out to his Nottingham based Polish community to offer his Polish-to-English translation services either for personal injury or medical negligence claims, or to help translate to any of our other solicitors that can help with property conveyancing, wills, probate, family matters like divorce or children arrangement orders, housing or general civil litigation. When asked why he chose to go into law: “I always felt the desire to help others in need and to work in a fast-paced environment. I believe that offering legal support and help to those who were injured and find themselves at a very difficult turn in their life is the best way to use my legal knowledge. I am pleased to be able to utilise my communication skills and help clients to recover compensation for the wrongdoings they suffered.”
