Camika joined Sternberg Reed in September 2023 & is part of the Family and Child Law Department. Prior to qualifying as Solicitor, Camika trained at a city firm where she gained experience in mental health and capacity law, and family law. Camika assisted Solicitors as well as conducted her own cases, advising and representing clients at court in certain matters. She is interested in exploring the various complex family structures and ways in which her assistance can be provided to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals. Camika is a keen advocate in protecting children and young people as well as preserving the legal rights of vulnerable people; she is particularly focused on helping them rebuild their lives. Camika is motivated to improve the lives of children, young people, families and communities. She has demonstrated this in voluntary positions held as; a Litigation Friend for the National Centre for Domestic Violence, a Young Enterprise volunteer, and a ReachOut mentor. Camika is currently a mentor for The Amos Bursary and a School Governor for a local primary school, with the position as an EAL Governor.
