Excellent service to a novice first time land buyer for a self build
I used Ollie to purchase an old agricultural barn with planning permission to convert to a home. This was a more complex purchase than anticipated due to boundaries, challenges with services, accessways etc but his knowledge and attention to detail was second to none and really took our future needs into consideration. Being new to purchasing land we had no idea what the right questions were to ask, but he anticipated our needs and acted as a real partner to us rather than just offering a service.
Whilst we were buying the land outright, we eventually needed to get a self build mortgage and he knew which elements a future lender would need to see and gave us great advice for the longer term too.
Ollie kept us informed right the way through and was very proactive, would highly recommend him (and Ashtons Legal) to anyone else going through a similar situation.

Competent and patient
