Personable and reasonable
I’ve spoken with Andrew Baker and got the very first time I felt respected.
He returned my email soon, gave me a thorough reply, met with me, gave advice and most importantly didn’t try to squeeze more money out of me, something that many of my friends have experienced with other law firms.

Employment advice
Mr Baker offered clear and calm advice for the situation with our employee who had escalated their employment dismissal against us to an Employment Tribunal. Unfortunately the claimant refused the suggested offer of a settlement; Mr Baker suggested a barrister and we duly attended Tribunal where all elements of the claimants' case against us were dismissed by the judge.

A superlative service.
Andrew guided me through a company dispute. I was very impressed with the service I received, if a situation arises again and I am in need of a solicitor, then without hesitantcy I will approach Boys & Maughan.

Employment termination agreement
Boys and Maughan have been my go to solicitors for the last 15 years ever since moving to Thanet. I have used them for multiple house purchases and sales as well for employment agreements and wills etc. In each and every case I have had exceptional service and value for money.
