Richard joined the firm on the 18th of October 2021 as our new head of employment! Richard previously worked for a well-known law firm in Sheffield but decided to start a career with another Law firm in the heart of Doncaster. Richard is based at our Railway Court Office, which is located just on the outskirts of the Doncaster city centre. Richard says: "I started practising law in 2007, however, it wasn't until 2012 when I officially became an Employment Solicitor. Since 2012 I have progressed up the working ladder for almost 7 years which has earned me the title of Head of Employment Law. I initially got into law as I wanted to change the world, which may seem a little daunting to some! I have always had that "helping hand" attitude hence I wanted to go into a career in which I could do just that! Being an employment solicitor not only allows me to help the general public with their employment issues, but it allows me to provide a high standard of service where all clients can feel comfortable and welcoming during their sometimes stressful and worrying times. "

About Richard Lozano

Amazing Experience - Settlement Agreement
I approached Taylor Bracewell solicitors to support with a settlement agreement, I was appointed Richard Lozano who was fantastic right from the start. Richard made me feel at ease, he discussed each stage of the process and thoroughly reviewed each element of my settlement agreement / employment contract. I explained to Richard that I was neurodivergent and he was really supportive in explaining things in a way that I could actually understand. Richard was also on hand to answer questions via text, e-mail and phone and made the whole process quite enjoyable.

Assitance with a settlement agreement
I contacted Taylor Bracewell regarding a settlement agreement. Richard was very helpful throughout the process. He discussed each stage of the process and documentation with me so that I understood it clearly and I was able to make informed decisions at each stage. Excellent and professional services from my solicitor, Richard. Richard was extremely helpful, supportive and very knowledgeable. The advice he gave was superb. I can't thank Richard enough for dealing with my issue in such an empathetic and friendly way. Redundancy settlement
From my initial contact, I felt confident with the service as I was greeted with efficient thoughtfulness. My 'story' was heard. Mr Lozano is obviously very knowledgeable on employment matters and the details of my settlement agreement received extensive scrutiny. Full advice was given. The 'turn-around' date for completion (meeting my then employer's deadline) was met. The consultation was attentive and respectful throughout.

Settlement Agreement
My first encounter with Taylor Bracewell was with Liam Jolley, who was very efficient and quick with his responsed when handling phone calls and whilst being informative. Richard Lozano handled my case and, again was very efficient, customer focused and due to the nature of the case made me feel relaxed and confident as he was approachable and explained the agreement in detail.
