Jessica graduated from the University of Southampton with a First Class Honours Degree in Law. After completing the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Guildford, obtaining a distinction, Jessica joined the firm in 2012 as a paralegal, before commencing her solicitor’s training contract in 2013. Jessica qualified as a solicitor in 2015 into our Wills and Probate department along with qualifying as a full member of The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) in 2017. In April 2022 Jessica was promoted to a partner within the firm. Jessica is also a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser, and was awarded the Spofforth Medal, by the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT), for achieving the highest mark in the UK in the Inheritance Tax, Trusts and Estates exam.

Our first meeting with Churches was back in 2009 when they handled the sale of our house on the Isle of Wight and purchase of the current one on Hayling Island. We returned to Churches so that my wife and I could update our Wills, change our Executors and arrange Lasting Powers of Attorney. Detailed and (very) clear explanations were given so that my wife and I were (are) extremely happy with the completed documents. The Staff we have so far met at Churches were all extremely polite, friendly and helpful.

J. Measham is The Best
While trying to get our wills written, we have had false starts with THREE other companies.
Ms. Measham is far and away the most professional, charming, intelligent and conscientious person we have dealt with on this journey, and she got the job done entirely to our satisfaction.
We can die happy!
We chose to add Churchers as our Executors so that our beneficiaries will be excused the burden of paperwork and liability.

Excellent Probate Solicitor
As an Executor for the first time, I was feeling quite overwhelmed with what I felt was a complicated Estate to administer. Jessica came recommended to me and from our first meeting, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders.
Jessica explained clearly how she could help me with the Probate process and then guided me throughout; keeping me up to date with progress as we went along. My emails and phone calls were always responded to personally, promptly and sensitively.
I am incredibly grateful for the service I had from Jessica and would certainly use her services and those of the Churchers team in the future.
