Nicola Hartley handled our sister's Will and Probate after her death. She was superb. Always calm, professional and sympathetic in the way she handled every aspect of our case.
She worked on a fee basis, as opposed to percentage of the value of the estate, so she was great value to. an't speak highly enough of the service we have received.

Preparation of a new will.
The lady I dealt with was very professional and helpful from my initial contact via phone to preparation of a draft will to meeting in person to go through the content of the will and it's ramifications. This was not my first such document but even had it been she put me through it in very precise detail and her advice was much appreciated.

Will & Probate Review
The 5 stars are for Nicola Hartley, as is this review. Her professionalism and determination to resolve a long-standing stalemate between executors enabled a resolution to the matter. I hope that Henry Hyams appreciate the work Nicola has done, and ensures she is justly rewarded for her efforts. I only wish Nicola had been dealing with this right from the start.
I would give Henry Hyams 3 stars, and that is generous. They initially sent letters to my old postal address, even though I had sent my new address to them by email before any correspondence was sent out. There was no drive, desire or determination to progress proceedings, and no advice offered to move things forward. Mistakes were made along the way, and while these may not have been deliberate, it became increasingly frustrating to deal with them.

Outstanding service!
I recently contacted Nicola Hartley from Henry Hyams in relation to setting up Lasting Power of Attorney for my mother. From that first contact to the conclusion of business I found her a pleasure to deal with.
Nicola took her time to explain every step of the process in clear terms, ensuring that I was fully informed and comfortable throughout. She was able to answer any question I had immediately, displaying an obvious mastery of her craft.
She displayed professionalism, humility and empathy in equal measure which is a rare quality.

will writing
My wife and i wanted to have our wills written but were unsure who to choose. my mobile phone was being bombarded with offers to write them with many variations on price. we decided to go with october will month which required a donation to a local hospice. there were several solicitor firms listed which would provide this service. alas we had left it late and most of the firms were up to capacity and couldnt help. it was looking dire but then i rang HENRY HYAMS OXFORD HOUSE OXFORD ROW and the phone was answered by a lovely lady called NICOLA HARTLEY . this ladys telephone manner was very welcoming and pleasant, Nicola made an appointment for my wife and i a few days later and it all went very smoothly. this lady was very reassuring, knew her job and explained everything in terms we could understand, a credit to the company. THANK YOU NICOLA. I have no personal connection to this firm, but i do strongly appreciate good service, So if you are contemplating having a will written i can highly recommend HENRYHYAMS.
