I am a Consultant Solicitor-Advocate within the Public Law and Immigration departments at Duncan Lewis. Since becoming a Solicitor-Advocate, I have successfully conducted out of hours applications for interim relief before the High Court and drafted Grounds for High Court matters. I initially joined Duncan Lewis in September 2005 for work experience. I was retained after my work experience and offered a position as a paralegal. After I successfully completed my Legal Practice Course (LPC), I was offered a Training Contract with the firm, which I part completed, completing two seats in Immigration Law and Criminal Law respectively. In March 2010 I left Duncan Lewis to complete my Training Contract at Cleveland & Co Solicitors, where I completed my third seat in Employment Law and subsequently qualified and admitted as a Solicitor. Following my admission as a Solicitor I supervised a team of Solicitors, trainees and caseworkers all dedicated to representing the most vulnerable in the society. I rejoined Duncan Lewis in May 2013 as Consultant Solicitor in the Immigration Department. I am accredited as a Supervisor and Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
