I can see how this firm is set up to move things between departments and work on a large scale with hundreds of clients.
Had I realised this at the start, I wouldn’t have used the firm because for very specific reasons Around a cancer diagnosis and a recent bereavement I needed my move much more quickly than usual.
Initially I found it difficult to get members of the team to understand why I wanted things moved as quickly as possible. It was difficult to make contact and emails were not answered.
And at one point when my paperwork was moved between internal teams, it sat on someone’s desk for 10 days.
I seriously considered cutting my losses and going to another solicitors.
However, in the end, the second team were very helpful and supportive. The solicitor was very kind at the end of the process and to be fair I believe we still got it in much more quickly than would normally be possible.
And my radiotherapy is a couple of weeks off.
Overall if you want to standard move done quickly efficiently and value for money then this would be the right for you. But if you need something more bespoke, I think I would recommend local solicitors.

Initially I thought I’d made a mistake, but once up and running I couldn’t fault the work of Jake and his team.
Before being assigned to a dedicated contact things seemed bad, communication was initially poor and receiving updates slow. Making contact with someone was next to impossible and responses to messages took days to be returned.
Once allocated to Jake’s caseload however this all changed and besides delays caused by other parties the service was excellent, I felt like a had Jake on speed dial but nothing was too much trouble.

It is great to work with PM Lawyers, took little bit longer than expected but worked professionally, accurate, I very happy.

Jake was extremely supportive in our house purchase - the seller’s solicitor was very difficult to deal with but Jake push through to the end and helped us to complete before Christmas. As first time buyers, we were apprehensive about the process but Jake put our minds at ease by explaining everything clearly and being honest if there was any hold ups. Easy to contact, sometimes a little wait on the phone but understandably he is busy with many cases at one time so we didn’t mind waiting. Originally we were meant to have Ambia Khatun, so glad we didn’t as Jake was 5 star. Thank you Jake for putting up with us!!

The solicitors claimed to not relieved documents and details when they had. I caught them out lying due to being CC'd into emails. They would ignore calls and emails for days, and one solicitor even joked with me how bad the firm was. My solicitors made the house purchase experience even more stressful than it already was. I would never recommend this firm.

I began my homebuyer journey in June 2024, I didn’t complete until the end of November. There was no chain and all my documents had been uploaded as soon as the process began. I had to apply for two mortgage extensions and PM were unable to give me an estimated date until the week before we completed. I had to pay an extortionate amount in storage as they initially suggested I could be in by the end of August but this did not happen. They did not check their emails until I called nor did they call me back when I asked for one. The whole process was unbelievably frustrating with constantly being told ‘we’re just waiting on this’ or ‘we need you to send us this’ despite having sent over all the documents to their app.

I am glad I finally completed the purchase and they helped me to achieve that. I had to chase them up to find out what was going on. The process was very slow and took longer then it should have.
