I am a 17 year qualified employment lawyer who worked the majority of my career at Herbert Smith Freehills but also in-house at Goldman Sachs, Societe Generale and Airbnb. I specialise in employment law and data protection. My work has been for both employers and employees. I have advised employers on the full spectrum of employment law issues including employment contracts at the recruitment stage, grievances and disciplinaries, equality and diversity, whistleblowing, family-friendly and other statutory rights, redundancies, restrictive covenants and negotiating departures, including advising on settlement agreements. I have also advised on the M&A side of employment law including TUPE, share purchase agreements and carrying out due diligence on the employment aspects of acquisitions. I now work primarily for employees and endeavour to provide affordable solutions without any compromise on the level of support I offer. In 2019 I won a grant to develop technology to assist employees in gaining access to justice. This technology (which is a dispute resolution platform) is called Litigation Friend and is something I am developing alongside my work with Lionshead Law. My approach is always solution focussed and I combine my in depth knowledge of behavioural science and the litigation process to achieve fair settlements for my clients. Outside of work, I parent my gorgeous crazy four kids and LOVE all things sport but particularly Tottenham Hotspur.
