It was a first time experience using a lawyer, in this case Sarah Newman of Barrett and Co Solicitors, Reading and as a Person with Parkinson's I needed a few things explained. Barrett and Co partner Parkinson's UK under the The National Free Will Network and were the only solicitors in my area to offer this wonderful service. A meeting at their office with Sarah resulted in a Will being drafted for me which I promptly forgot about. Some time passed without my responding to Miss Newman but kindly reminders were sent and it was finally done. I was so happy with this service that I have now engaged them to handle the LPA's (Lasting Power of Attorney) for Health and Finance. Everyone should have this done but perhaps particularly for people with degenerative neurological conditions, as one never know what'a around the corner. Sound advice, friendly, relaxing and efficient service. Thank you Barrett and Co, Parkinson's UK and Sarah for her tenacity and knowledge.
