I had a situation at work that required the services of an employment specialist solicitor and as this firm was recommended to me, I wanted to do the same, as this firm really cannot be faulted.

Your situation will be different to mine, so let me share some thoughts on why I would recommend Peggy Barnard who took on the case without question. That means don't sit back on your laurels thinking the solicitor will get good resolve unless you help them out. Find examples, emails, situations, explain the occurrences, anything to help them represent you and finally don't forget that when they do start to act on your behalf with your employer - its just as much their reputation on the line as your own.

I was amazed impressed and astounded at the first letter response to my ex-employer and the level of detail that Peggy remembered for our conversations. Even the slightest comment from something in passing, was written and then combined with the correct language and the law, I felt then it was a partnership. She will keep you in check and move things forwards, so you can deal with the emotional aspects.
